Last Sunday was a gorgeous, sunny day so we went for a long walk around Brooklyn. How beautiful are these pea shoots at the Carroll Gardens farmers market?
Loved this back area of GRDN, a cute garden/plant shop in Boerum Hill.
And right next door, the logo and weathered sign of Mile End Deli.
I love the ceilings in NYC. So many ceilings, so little time. This one’s from the Steven Alan men’s shop.
Cute, right? And the food at Rucola lives up to the looks on the outside. Love this place.
Ample Hills Creamery opened in Gowanus over the summer, and ohhhhh yes, it’s so good. I declared my first cone there the best I’ve ever had. That was Sweet Cream and Cookies, and I was super disappointed they weren’t carrying it this day, but it forced me to go with something new — The Munchies: pretzel-infused ice cream with clusters of Ritz crackers, potato chips, pretzels and mini M&M’s. Ridiculous, right? But so good!
They have a roof deck up top so you can enjoy your cone while looking out over Brooklyn. Love the lettering.
