what caught my eye this week…
1. Something I’ve always wondered about: 10 men explain why they became gynecologists. (I’ve only ever used a female gynecologist. Except for my last exam, when the nurse asked if it would be ok for a student to work on me and I said yes… and in walked a guy. I found it awkward. But interesting to read these reasons.)
2. Boot season is back. Here’s how to care for them (with lovely illustrations).
3. I’m really enjoying watching Ken Burns’s The Roosevelts: An Intimate History. It’s a fascinating look into their interesting — and often troubled — lives.
4. Designers, here’s bezier curves made into a game.
Loved Kathleen Shannon’s Circles Conference talk about entrepreneurs putting fear in its place.
I don’t speak french, but this site has some beautiful food photography. Love the lettered logo.
